SEA CLIFF GARAGE SALE DAY ON SATURDAY

The Sea Cliff Civic Association will be holding its annual Garage Sale Day this Saturday, June 7, from 9 am to 4 pm, with sales being held at more than 80 different locations throughout the Village. Shoppers can pick up a Shopper's Guide and Map at Clifton Park Saturday morning.

The Northwinds Symphonic Band, under the musical direction of Helen Bauer, in collaboration with the Village of Sea Cliff, the Sea Cliff Civic Association and the Sea Cliff Arts Council, will present a program of great American band music on Sunday June 8, 2014 at 5:00 PM. SEA CLIFF CIVIC ASSOC. TO PRESENT WHITE CAP AWARDS ON TUESDAY

The Sea Cliff Civic Association will present its White Cap Awards at a ceremony at the Metropolitan Bistro on Roslyn Avenue this Tuesday June 11 at 8 pm.   Each year the prestigious awards are given to individuals, groups or organizations that have demonstrated repeated outstanding volunteer service to the Sea Cliff community.  All are welcome to attend.

SEA CLIFF SPRINGFEST ON SUNDAY

The second annual Sea Cliff Springfest will be held this Sunday on Sea Cliff Avenue between Roslyn and Main from 11 am to 5 pm.  The event is a celebration of Sea Cliff's vibrant community culture - in particular its volunteer groups, businesses, artists and Musicians.  This year, a Kid's Korner will be added to the mix, with child-friendly activities and a Sidewalk Chalk Art Exhibit by local High School Students.  Musical performers will include Jenn Gerrity, the Community Drum Circle, in which all are invited to participate, the Lazy Dogs, Kris Rice and Co., Chicken Head, and Roots Revelators. Food Donations will be collected for Mutual Concerns.

The North Shore Board of Education will meet on Thursday, 6/5, in the NS High School Theatre. It is anticipated that the Board will meet at 6:30 PM and immediately motion to go into executive session. "SALTY AND FRESH" AT DANIEL GALE SOTHEBY'S IN SEA CLIFF THIS MONTH

June 3, 2014 -- "Salty and Fresh" an exhibit of prints and pastels, will open at Daniel Gale/Sotheby's at 266 Sea Cliff Avenue this Sunday June 8.  The exhibit will feature works of Emily Harrison-Ach and Joan Harrison. 

Ms. Harrison-Ach is a printmaker and book artist whose work has been shown internationally. She currently has prints on display in the Coohaus Gallery in Chelsea, NYC.  READ MORE


FEEL THE SPIRIT!  NORTH SHORE COMMUNITY CHORUS PERFORMS SPIRITUALS

- The North Shore Community Chorus (NSCC), under the direction of Stephen Goldstein, will perform their final concert of the 2013-2014 season:  an exciting and  uplifting performance of African-American spirituals, featuring works by William Dawson, Jester Hairston, Houston Bright, Peter Bagley and Andre Thomas. The NSCC also feature a performance of musical selections by "Musica Schmoozica"  directed by Carol Goglia.

The concert will be held on Saturday evening, June 14th at 8:00 p.m. at the North Shore High School Auditorium. Admission is free!
