June 20, 2015 -- Morgan Park Summer Music Festival recently held its annual Young Performers Talent Competition at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall in Glen Cove. Thirty-five extremely talented vocalists and instrumentalists aged 9 to 19, played and sang before five judges.

The public will have an opportunity to hear these very talented competition winners and honorable mentions (Kenta Normura is unable to appear) in Morgan Park on Sunday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend this very special evening of music under the stars.
Morgan Park Summer Music Festival thanks Erika Anglin, Dr. Karen Beluso, Nicholas Carbuto, Fran Howlett and Jill Weissman for judging the competition this year. All of the judges were impressed with the caliber of this year’s participants. They noted that it was difficult to choose from among so many talented and gifted young people who clearly had worked very hard to prepare for this audition. The judges hope that a good crowd comes out on July 12 to hear these exciting young performers.
