SEA CLIFF MUSEUM CELEBRATES 35TH ANNIVERSARY; "SECRETS OF THE SEA CLIFF MUSEUM"  OPENS

On Sunday, September 22 the Sea Cliff Village Museum celebrated its 35th anniversary. Guests enjoyed cake and refreshments, and Mayor Bruce Kennedy and Village Trustees read aloud letters that had been sent to the Village Board many decades ago.  In addition to the celebration, the Museum opened its new exhibit, "Secrets of the Sea Cliff Museum."  The items on display include an 1880s American Flag with 38 stars, late 19th century woman's attire, photographs of Sea Cliff baseball teams of the early 20th century, and bars from the old Sea Cliff Jail.  Some of the items, and the letters read by the Mayor and Trustees are pictured to the right and below.
