SC MAKESHOP OFFERS OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE MOTHER'S DAY CARDS WHILE LEARNING SCIENCE

SC MakeShop held its first workshop on Saturday at the Sea Cliff Children's Library, during which the young participants learned about simple circuits while making light up Mother's Day Cards. High School Key Club volunteers Carly Rovner, Jess Hanon, and Cecilia Nelson were on hand to help out the elementary students who attended.
The Not-for-profit was recently launched by Pooja Veera of Glenwood Landing, and Andrea Stoff and Sara Jones of Sea Cliff, in an effort to bring more science education to Sea Cliff and the surrounding North Shore school district area.
