The Rhythm is Gonna Get You!
On Sunday, July 30, Morgan Park Summer Music Festival presents a tribute to Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine. The show, which is sponsored by Glen Cove Hospital Northwell Health, is free to the public and begins at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Park.
Get set for an evening of sizzling salsa! The Rhythm is Gonna Get You as Nikki Torres and The Rhythm Machine Band faithfully recreate the storied excitement of the incomparable seven-time Emmy award-winner Gloria Estefan and The Miami Sound Machine Band. Backed by The Rhythm Machine Band, Nikki Torres, who has sung background and toured the world with major artists, covers all of Estefan’s most memorable hit songs. You’ll absolutely be dancin’ as you Get on Your Feet to count 1, 2, 3.
Come on down to Morgan Park and enjoy a wonderful evening of family entertainment under the stars. Bring a blanket or chairs and picnic if you wish. Children are welcome. Morgan Park Summer Music Festival is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that has been presenting free concerts in the park for 58 years. The shows are completely funded through the generous donations that are received from businesses and individuals. Taxpayer money is not asked for nor received to bring this high caliber talent to the Festival.
