SCHOOLS INFRASTRUCTURE BOND VOTE THIS TUESDAYDecember 1, 2013 -- On Tuesday, December 3, residents of the North Shore School District will have the opportunity to vote on a $19.6 million bond proposition to fund infrastructure improvements in the district’s three elementary schools, middle school, high school, transportation facility, and administrative building. At its August 29th meeting, the Board of Education discussed the proposal in detail and at its subsequent meeting, on September 12, unanimously passed a resolution to put it up for a public vote. SCFD DECKS THE FIREHOUSE IN PREPARATION FOR THE HOLIDAYSWith a lot of teamwork and a hook and ladder, Sea Cliff volunteer firemen spent Sunday decking the firehouse with wreaths, strings of lights, stars, and a Santa Claus. On Wednesday, the firehouse will play host to Hanukkah Happening at 6:30 pm.
