SEA CLIFF VETERANS DAY OBSERVANCE ON NOVEMBER 11 AT 11am

Veterans at last year's observance

Veterans Day will be observed on Wednesday, November 11th.  At precisely 11 a.m., the National Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery will commence including a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.   Veterans Day ceremonies throughout our country are meant to honor and thank all who served in the United States Armed Forces.

The Village of Sea Cliff will hold its own brief observance at the World War I Memorial at the large rock in Clifton Park.  Veterans and Village residents, especially our young students, are asked to join us on November 11th at 11 a.m. so that we can demonstrate our appreciation to all those who have served and are serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.  All Veterans are invited to lunch at the Sea Cliff Fire Department after the ceremony.
