OMEGA ENSEMBLE CONCERT
AT TRINITY CHURCH, ROSLYN On Sunday, May 18 at 3:00 pm the Omega Ensemble will be performing at Trinity Episcopal Church in Roslyn. The Omega Ensemble is a nonprofit chamber music organization in existence since 1973, whose mission is to introduce outstanding young artists to the public. To date, Omega Ensemble has presented over 175 young musicians in NYC and on Long Island.
This concert will include works by Rachmaninov, Beethoven, Schumann & Mendelssohn. The performers are Andrew Janss on cello, Kristin Lee on violin and Kwan Yi on piano. There will also be brief performances by local "next generation" winners of international competitions: Alexandra Woroniecki and Christian Wong. Trinity Church is located at 1579 Northern Blvd, Roslyn (516-621-7925), just east of the Roslyn Viaduct. Ticket prices are $20 for 1 adult, $35 for 2 adults, $60 for 4 adults, free for students. There will be a post-concert meet-and-greet, with complimentary refreshments. All welcome! |
