Local author and environmental journalist Dan Fagin was at the Sea Cliff Library this past Thursday evening to discuss his critically acclaimed book Toms River in which he tells the unfortunately true story of a cancer cluster among children in a southern New Jersey town, a chemical plant on its outskirts, a town dump, and the efforts that ultimately uncovered the connection between the three.  Click here for a review of Mr. Fagin's book in the New York Times.
