THE POWER OF ONE - PULSE DANCE PERFORMANCE, FRIDAY, APRIL 1, NS HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE, 7:30 PM
![]() Please join us at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 1st, as the North Shore High School Pulse Dance Team takes the stage to perform an exciting mix of lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, and jazz, and tap routines! With the show titled, "The Power of One," the team will present a performance that explores power and what it means to have it in today's world. The diversely talented team will perform to a variety of songs including: "Power" by Kanye West, and "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone. Intermission entertainment will also be performed by Glen Dance Studio.
Gabriella Palmieri, advisor and North Shore alumna from the Class of 2009, said, "We are so excited for our second annual PULSE showcase. It is truly a special event that allows the team of 24 members to showcase their passion and talents as dancers and teammates.” The Pulse Team consists of 24 active members that participate in performances throughout the school year at varsity football games, varsity basketball games and even Relay for Life. Members include Jillian Agostino, Julia Albanese (captain), Amanda Bloom, Sarah Checca, Katharine Colgan, Julia Cuite, Emily Davidow, Amanda Dulak, Cleo Fleming (captain), Adriana Ganasoulis, Jess Hannon (captain), Chloe Johnson, Jacqueline Kaider, Miranda Kianka, Melissa Leone, Laurette Lisena, Alexis Lovaglio, Zoe Malin, Alice Rieger, Jordan Roth, Olivia Sasso, David Swett, Alexa Waiksnis and Alex Weil. You don’t want to miss this fun event that will be enjoyable for all ages! Please mark your calendars for Friday, April 1st, 2016. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. at North Shore High School Theatre. Admission is $5.00 for students and $10.00 for non-students. Additionally, Pulse welcomes new members and does not require multiple years of dance experience to participate (e.g., dance experience on the team ranges from 2-15 years.)
