The Friends of Cedarmere present “William Cullen Bryant: His Literary Influences & Legacy,” on Sunday, January 29, from 2:00-4:00 pm.
In an effort to keep the public informed about restorations underway at Bryant’s Cedarmere Library, noted expert Sunday Steinkirchner will discuss books in Bryant’slibrary, with focus on Jefferson’s Federalist Papers, Thomas More’s Utopia, and the works of Washington Irving and how they influenced his writing, as well as his associations with contemporary 19th century writers.
