On Sunday, August 13, The Dave Matthews Tribute Band performs at Morgan Park Summer Music Festival.  The show, sponsored by Sondra and David Mack, is free to the public and begins at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Park.
Also called Big Eyed Phish, the seven-member Dave Matthews Tribute Band has headlined throughout the Northeast at festivals, resorts, casinos and live music venues, presenting an authentic homage to one of the best rock/jazz fusion bands of all time. Matthew’s music is enjoyed by a wide range of ages and musical tastes, crossing over to thrill fans of rock, blues, country, soul, jazz and more. Members of The Dave Matthews Tribute Band and the band members they portray are Brandon DePaul (“Dave”), lead vocals and guitar; Jimmy Grillo (“Carter”), drums; Dan Merkey (“Jeff”/“LeRoi”), sax, backup vocals, cowbell; Shawn Rotolo (“Stefan”), bass; Mike Hoeschlele (“Boyd”), violin, harmonica, backup vocals; Brian Dudiak (“Butch”), keyboards; and Jon Sheffer (Tim), lead guitar.

Morgan Park Summer Music Festival is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that has been presenting free concerts in the park for 58 years.  The shows are completely funded through the generous donations that are received from businesses and individuals.  Taxpayer money is not asked for nor received to bring this high caliber talent to the Festival.
