AFTER BANNING BUTTS AT THE BEACH, SC VILLAGE BOARD TO CONSIDER NO SMOKING RULE AT PARKS AND OTHER VILLAGE PROPERTIES
May 9, 2015 -- After having voted at its Village Board Conference this past Tuesday to ban smoking at Sea Cliff Beach, the Sea Cliff Village Board of Trustees will consider a proposal extending that prohibition to all parks and other village owned properties at its meeting this Monday night. At Tuesday's Conference, the Board also discussed changing or clarifying rules for allowing for-profit and not-for-profit entities to use village property for sales of goods and/or services. Although many residents were on hand to listen to the discussion, Board Conferences do not include a public comment period. There will be public comment on Monday. The meeting will take place in the downstairs courtroom and begin at 7 pm.
