DINNER IS FINALLY SERVED AS SEA CLIFF CIVIC
ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL EVENT RESUMES
November 11, 2013 -- Neither Nor’easter nor Super Storm stood in the way of the Sea Cliff Civic Association’s Progressive Dinner this past Saturday night. After two unsuccessful attempts last year to hold the popular annual event, the three course meal was finally served.
The more than 100 participants were divided among three locations for appetizers, and then were further separated into groups of six to eight as they moved on to the dinner course that was held at 18 different houses. The dinner parties then combined for dessert and drinks at the Sea Cliff Yacht Club. Last year, the annual event was scheduled for early November, only to be scrapped as a result of Superstorm Sandy. Rescheduled for February, misfortune fell once again upon the progressive supper seekers, as a snow and ice storm struck Sea Cliff. As fall approaches next year, keep an eye out for hosting information from the Civic Association for this not to be missed event. |
