May 10, 2014 To the Editor: For the first time in the last two decades the upcoming election for Trustees of the North Shore School District raises the possibility that there might be no Trustee on the Board who does not have a child in the District. Clearly it’s a wonderful thing to have parents as Trustees. But the Board has also always had at least one member who could look at issues from an additional perspective, and could bring to the Board the concerns of members of the community without children in the schools.
