AN UNCONTESTED ELECTION FOR NORTH SHORE BOARD OF EDUCATION
April 18, 2016 -- Only three candidates will be on the ballot for the three seats that are up for grabs in the North Shore Board Education Trustees election that will take place on Tuesday, May 15. While six candidate petitions had been pulled over the past six weeks, only Glenwood Landing resident David Ludmar, and incumbents Sara Jones and Marianne Russo submitted their's by the 5 pm Monday deadline. Trustees Jones and Russo, who were first elected in 2013 are seeking their second three-year terms while Mr. Ludmar his first. Incumbent Trustee Michael Nightengale has chosen not to run again. This is the second straight uncontested North Shore Board of Education election.
