2015 PUMPKIN PATCH FUNDRAISER AT THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF SEA CLIFF
The pumpkin patch is back! The Methodist Church of Sea Cliff will be hosting its 12th annual fall fundraiser from October 2 through October 31. All pumpkins are grown in New Mexico by the Navajo Nation and shipped across the country by tractor-trailer and unloaded at the church on October 1st with many volunteer helping hands. Once the truck is unloaded, a casual dinner to express appreciation is always provided for all volunteers. UMSC undertakes this project each year as a fundraiser to support the work of the church. A large portion also goes back to the Navajo Nation to help support and make a significant difference in the quality of the lives of Native Americans. So come and pick out you’re your favorite sized pumpkin and gourds for your fall décor. Bring along your camera because the bright orange pumpkins, colorful gourds, scarecrows and autumn foliage on the beautiful grounds of the United Methodist Church provide a great backdrop for your fall family photos and Halloween pictures. The Patch is open from October 2nd thru October 31st on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays noon to 6 pm and Saturdays and Columbus Day 10 am - 6 pm. The Methodist Church is located at 63 Downing Ave, corner of Carpenter and Downing Avenues.
