Glen Cove is blessed with a rich tradition of religious and spiritual organizations and music plays an important role in the practice of these faiths. Members from nine of Glen Cove’s houses of worship have accepted Morgan Park Summer Music Festival's invitation to offer a glimpse of these traditions of faith in our community. Participants include the Fuerza Nueva Band from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, The Intercession of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Choir, St. Rocco’s Church, Iglesia Ciudad de Refugio Asambleas de Dios, North Country Reform Temple Choir, Gurduara Muta Sahib Kaur Sikh Temple, Calvary AME Church Mass Choir, Cantor Gustavo Gitlin of Congregation Tifereth Israel and Noste Domine of St. Hyacinth’s Church. There will be hymns sung in Polish, Russian, Spanish, Hebrew and English, as well as an instrumental presentation by the Sikh Temple.
