OMEGA ENSEMBLE RETURNS TO TRINITY CHURCH, ROSLYN
On Sunday, May 6th at 3:00 pm the Omega Ensemble will once again be performing at Trinity Episcopal Church in Roslyn. The Omega Ensemble is a nonprofit chamber music organization, in existence since 1973, whose mission is to introduce outstanding young artists to the public. To date, Omega Ensemble has presented over 170 young musicians in NYC and on Long Island. Many have gone on to careers as concertmasters of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra; members of the Juilliard, Emerson, and Orion String Quartets; and winners of the Indianapolis, Tchaikovsky and Munich ARD International Competitions.
The concert on May 6th at Trinity Church will include works by Tchaikovsky, Paganini, Mendelssohn and Debussy, performed by Itamar Zorman on violin, Liza Stepanova on piano and Gabriel Cabezas on cello.
Trinity Church is located at 1579 Northern Blvd, Roslyn (516-621-7925), just east of the Roslyn Viaduct. There will be a post-concert meet-and-greet with complimentary refreshments. Please join us!
