NSCC SONDHEIM TRIBUTE - JUNE 13

The North Shore Community Chorus (NSCC), under the direction of Stephen Goldstein, will present a musical tribute to legendary Broadway composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim.

The Community Chorus will perform music from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Into the Woods, Sunday in the Park with George, Merrily We Roll Along  and Sweeney Todd. Ensemble singers, "Musica Schmoozica," under the direction of Carol Goglia, will perform highlights from West Side Story.

The program will also feature NSCC’s distinguished soloists—including Diana Schuld (Glen Head), Jeanne Whelan and Lisa Denison (Glen Cove), Michael Flanagan (Bayville) and Frannie and Mark Kaufmann (Wantagh)—performing Sondheim’s best-loved solos/songs.
