THE NORTH SHORE VIKINGS GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL TEAM ADVANCES TO COUNTY FINAL ON MARCH 1

North Shore Schools, Glen Head, NY - The North Shore Vikings Girls Varsity Basketball Team (18-2) is once again in the playoffs and are one win away from their second County Title in three years. 

As the #1 seed in the Nassau County Class “A” playoffs, they will take on the Seahawks of Cold Spring Harbor in what is sure to be a hard-fought game against a very talented and well-coached team. 


The Vikings advanced to the County Title Game after wins over Westbury and Glen Cove in the early rounds and then a resounding 86-46 victory over Levittown Division in a Semi-Final game at LIU Post on Sunday, February 22nd.  The girls earned the #1 seed after their fourth consecutive Conference Championship. 

Over the past four years, the Vikings have amassed a 72-9 record, quite an impressive feat! Please come out and support the Vikings at County Final on March 1st at 2:00 PM at LIU Post. Admission is $6 (no cost for children under 11 yrs.)
