NORTH SHORE CHILDREN'S CHOIRS AND COMMUNITY CHORUS TO PERFORM IN JOINT HOLIDAY CONCERT ON DECEMBER 13

Students of all three North Shore Elementary schools and the Middle School, will blend their voices with the North Shore Community Chorus (NSCC), under the direction of Stephen Goldstein, in a richly inspiring holiday concert onSaturday, December 13, 8:00 p.m., at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Glen Cove. Organist, Timothy Carl, and the Island Chamber Symphony, directed by Jeremy Kempton will accompany the combined choirs.

Teachers LiJu Cheung (Glenwood Landing), Diane Kislin (Glen Head), Ashley Hassett (Sea Cliff) and Brian Messemer (NS Middle School) collaborated with NSCC Choral Director Goldstein in preparing the students for this program.

John Rutter’s “Mass of the Children” will be the evening’s featured work. Also on the program are Rutter’s “Psalm 150” and Leonard Bernstein’s “Sanctus” from his “Mass.”
