NORTH SHORE LACROSSE CLUB HOSTS ANNUAL LACROSSE DAY
April 29, 2015 -- On Saturday, April 25, North Shore Lacrosse Club players, coaches, and parents, celebrated their sport with their annual Lacrosse Day, a community wide event that started at North Shore High School and ended with a fundraiser at Still Partners in Sea Cliff.
The day's worth of events included Varsity and Junior Varsity Women’s and Men’s games, as well as 7 and 8th grade girls games, clinics, and youth team scrimmages. Lacrosse Club supporters packed Still Partners later in the evening for a fundraiser, where local band RiDe performed. "We had a wonderful turnout this year from the community showing their support for North Shore Lacrosse," said North Shore Lacrosse Club President John Russo. "One of the highlights for me personally was seeing so many of our youngest players, (Pre K - 2nd grade) covering the high school turf, learning basic skills from our varsity players. Special thanks to everyone who participated and donated their time to help make the day and evening a huge success." Photos by North Shore Lacrosse Club and Northwordnews BACK TO WEEKLY |
