The North Shore INN is so grateful for the support given for the Benefit Concert by the (SJC) Social Justice Committee of the UUCSR ,(Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Shelter Rock) which represents just another way in which we,“Serve One Another”. The SJCs’ generosity in helping get the word out, (by printing 200 (+) color flyers) and, providing the opportunity to service and offer tickets in the lobby for the Benefit Concert on Sunday March 8th, and 15th, is truly appreciated. It is yet another demonstration of the way the UUCSR has always been there for the many soup kitchens throughout Long Island which fall under the umbrella of the INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network)... After Hurricane Sandy... the UUCSR provided a large grant to help restock the pantries of the Mary Brennan INN in Hempstead after the demand for food grew and the pantries were running low. At times the offering collected during the services of the UUCSR are targeted for specific needs of The NS INN..like for Turkey’s for our guests at Thanksgiving. Thank you, thank you, thank you...!!!
