UNITED STATES NAVY BAND NORTHEAST POPS ENSEMBLE TO PERFORM AT MORGAN PARK SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL, JULY 27

On Sunday, July 27, the United States Navy Band Northeast will perform at Morgan Park Summer Music Festival. The concert, which is free to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Park. The United States Navy Band Northeast’s Pops Ensemble is a full 45-member concert band comprised of professional Navy musicians from across the county. The band performs a wide variety of musical styles including the traditional band repertory, popular standards and patriotic favorites. The Pops Ensemble, a perennial favorite with audiences of all ages, presents programs drawn from among crowd-pleasing classics such as God Bless America, America the Beautiful, Buglars’ Holiday, The Florentiner, Swanee, Second Suite for Military Band and many others. The Navy Band Northeast concert is supported in part by a generous donation from the Trustees of Morgan Memorial Park. So come on down to Morgan Park and enjoy a wonderful evening of musical entertainment under the stars. Bring a blanket or chairs and picnic if you wish. Children are welcome. Please note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted in Morgan Park. Morgan Park is located on Germaine Street at the end of Landing Road in Glen Cove. Morgan Park Summer Music Festival is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that has been providing free concerts in the park for 55 years.
