The Morgan Park Summer Music Festival recently met at Webb Institute to plan the Festival’s 58th season of free concerts in the park. Committee members reviewed the previous season and began outlining potential concerts for next summer. The Concert Subcommittee will be working hard over the winter to provide the community with another summer of family-friendly entertainment every weekend in July and August.
Morgan Park Summer Music Festival is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that has been providing free concerts in the park for 57 years. The shows are completely funded through the generous donations that are received from businesses and individuals. Taxpayer money is not requested nor received to bring this high caliber talent to the Festival year after year.
