GRAMMY AWARD WINNER VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS TO PERFORM AT MORGAN PARK SUNDAY NIGHT
On Sunday, August 10, Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks will perform at Morgan Park Summer Music Festival. The concert, which is free to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Park.
Grammy-winner Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks have played in New York nightclubs, appeared in films and major television shows and have performed at important jazz venues. Film projects have included Cotton Club, The Aviator, Finding Forrester and Revolutionary Road. On TV, the group has been seen in the HBO presentations Boardwalk Empire and Mildred Pierce, and on the PBS special Michael Feinstein’s American Songbook. In addition to Morgan Park and their regular appearances at Iguana NYC, this summer Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks appear at Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing, the Newport Jazz Festival, Town Hall’s Cole Porter-La Ambassadeur Review and Pier 84’s Moon Dance, among others.

So come to Morgan Park and enjoy a wonderful evening of musical entertainment under the stars. Bring a blanket or chairs and picnic if you wish. Children are welcome. The shows are completely funded through the generous donations that are received from businesses and individuals. Taxpayer money is not requested nor received to bring this high caliber talent to the Festival.
