SINATRA INSPIRED THIS SUNDAY AT MORGAN PARKOn Sunday, July 17, Morgan Park Summer Music Festival celebrates Frank Sinatra at 100 with Sinatra Inspired by Glen Cove’s own Jerry Costanzo and his All-Star Orchestra. The show, which is free to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Park and is sponsored by Atria Glen Cove.
Jerry Costanzo’s debut full-length album, Destination Moon, featuring classics from the Sinatra repertory, earned Costanzo a dedicated following through appearances such as the Annual Sinatra Birthday Bash at the Count Basie Theatre, New York’s Metropolitan Room, Feinstein’s at Lowes Regency, Small’s Jazz Club and the Waldorf Astoria. On Long Island, he has appeared at LIU’s Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, Dix Hills Performing Arts Center at Five Towns College and Hofstra University’s John Cranford Adams Playhouse. In Sinatra Inspired, Costanzo and his orchestra present timeless standards by Sinatra and other crooning legends. Come on down to Morgan Park and enjoy a wonderful evening of family entertainment under the stars. Bring a blanket or chairs and picnic if you wish. Children are welcome. Morgan Park is located on Germaine Street at the end of Landing Road in Glen Cove. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, Pearsall Avenue, Glen Cove.
