ROBERT MAZZELLA FOR NORTH SHORE SCHOOL BOARD

I have been a resident in the North Shore School District for 30 years and this is the first time I have written in support of a candidate for the school board.

Robert Mazzella has lived in the Glen Head community for many years. We met as our children attend Glenwood Landing Elementary School together.  As our children are growing and progressing through the school system, Robert has become more and more involved in community and school affairs. He is a viable member of the community always attending Board of Education meetings, District events and civic gatherings.

Robert’s wife Joan has been a teacher for over 20 years.  His respect for educators is insurmountable. Robert recognizes the amount of passion and dedication the teachers in our schools have and that is one of the reasons they chose to live in the North Shore School District.  Robert’s goal is to continue to keep the North Shore School District high performing academically, in the arts and sports while being fiscally responsible.  His educational and career background in finance as well as his concern for our children and community make him a perfect choice for the North Shore School District Board of Education.
