NORTH SHORE MADRIGALS PERFORM AT OUR SAVIORS CHURCH IN GLEN HEAD

This past Friday Evening, Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Glen Head resounded with the glorious voices of the North Shore High School Madrigals.  The group performed a rich variety of holiday standards, spirituals and classical pieces. They included Down to the River, Carol of the Bells, Chanukah, O Chanukah, and Silent Night.  With little encouragement needed, the audience enthusiastically joined in for Joy to the World and Jingle Bells.  And as the concert neared its conclusion, many accepted choir director Michael Kerschner's invitation to join the Madrigals in the front of the sanctuary to sing the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah.
