SEA CLIFF-GLEN HEAD LIONS BENEFIT CONCERT RAISES FUNDS FOR LOCAL CHARITIES

More than a hundred people filled the Sea Cliff Fire House gathering hall this past Saturday evening for a benefit concert sponsored by the Sea Cliff - Glen Head Lions Club.  The event, organized by Lion Shane Dommin working in conjunction with the Sea Cliff Fire Department, featured the Sea Cliff-based band, the Lazy Dogs, and headliners Reckless Abandon who performed a mix of classic rock covers and a few originals.  By the end of the evening, more than $1000 was raised, much of which will go towards supporting local charities such as Mutual Concerns, the Long Island Guide Dog Foundation, and Izote, as well as for a scholarship fund for local high school students.
