Calling all teen comic fans: Attend a comic convention right here in Glen Head on Saturday, April 25th from 11 am to 3 pm! Hear two local middle school and high school bands! Dress up as your favorite comic or anime character and square off against other teens in a cosplay fashion show and contest! Watch a stand-up comedy show by Ian Rubin! Get your picture taken with members of the 501st Star Wars Legion! Learn how to draw superheroes in a workshop with Paul Merklein! Find out the secrets of your favorite superhero films with Clive Young! 
The SeaGold MiniCon will take place at the North Shore Middle School Cafetorium, 505 Glen Cove Ave. Glen Head. It is co-sponsored by the Sea Cliff Village Library and the Gold Coast Public Library. The SeaGold MiniCon is for teens in grades 6-12.
