LETTER
DINA EPSTEIN - A TIRELESS ADVOCATE FOR SEA CLIFF
Received from Kevin McGilloway, Sea Cliff
March 11, 2017 To the Editor: I think that it is wonderful that we have three residents vying for the two open Trustee positions in this year’s Sea Cliff Village election, affording the community a choice. Two candidates, Jeff Vitale and Deborah McDermott, are presenting themselves in their first election, which I applaud and wish them both well. I am writing this letter in support of the third candidate, Dina Epstein, with whom I have had the pleasure and privilege of working with for the last 5 years (3 on the Zoning Board and the last 2 as a fellow Trustee). During this time, I have come to respect and value Dina as a tireless advocate for Sea Cliff, someone who is passionately committed to do the ‘right thing’ for our village after thoroughly researching every topic. Dina has been a great colleague who has offered her time and considerable talent across a wide variety of initiatives – from environmental themes (most recently our new Butterfly Garden!) through revising zoning statutes - that have directly contributed to Sea Cliff’s growth and progress. In short, through her hard work and numerous accomplishments, Dina has earned my enthusiastic vote for Village Trustee. I encourage all residents to vote on March 21st – and to seriously consider Dina as one of their Trustee options. Thank you. Kevin McGilloway Sea Cliff |
