JIMMY AND THE PARROTS RETURN TO MORGAN PARK SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL THIS SUNDAY
On Sunday, August 9, Jimmy and the Parrots return to the Morgan Park Summer Music Festival stage with their ever popular tribute to Jimmy Buffett. The concert, which is free to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Park.
Get set to party with this tribute to the summer fun music of Jimmy Buffett. One of the country’s best known interpreters of Buffett’s music celebrating the lifestyle of the Islands, Jimmy and the Parrots have delighted Parrotheads from the West Indies and Jamaica and in cities up and down the East Coast, including Key West, the spiritual home for Buffett’s music and fans. Jimmy and the Parrots’ recordings have included Yea Mon, Better than New, Island Jam and An Island Party with Jimmy and the Parrots. The Jimmy and the Parrots concert is underwritten by PSEG Long Island. Come on down to Morgan Park and enjoy a wonderful evening of family entertainment under the stars. Bring a blanket or chairs and picnic if you wish. Children are welcome. Morgan Park is located on Germaine Street at the end of Landing Road in Glen Cove.
