HOMECOMING IS COMING!  SATURDAY, SEPT. 28

On Saturday, September 28, the North Shore School District will be having its annual Homecoming.  The daylong celebration will include many events and activities.  At 9:30 a.m. community members, students and alumni will gather at Glenwood Landing School to march in a parade that will, at 10 am, begin its trek through Glenwood and Glen Head on its way to the High School.  At 10:30, just as the marchers arrive, a Carnival will be held at the high school fields, where there will be plenty of fun activities including live music and entertainment, games, inflatables, face painting and popcorn.  At 1 pm, fans will be treated to a pre-game show at the high school stadium followed by  the Varsity Football Vikings taking on the Valley Stream North Spartans.

Tickets for the Carnival can be purchased in  advance at northshoreartsangels.org
for $7.50, or at the door for $10.00.  The District will be providing free
shuttle bus service to and from each of the three elementary schools
to the high school from 8:45 am to 5 pm.  (Click flyer for larger image.)
