GOLD COAST LIONS CLUB SPRING ACTIVITIES
The Gold Coast Lions Club continues to offer Defensive Driving classes administered by the National Safety Institute and approved by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles. You can save 10% on liability and collision insurance for three years and reduce up to 4 points on your license. It is offered in a 6-hour format on Saturday. The next class will be held on Saturday, May 16th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sea Cliff Village Hall, 300 Sea Cliff Avenue (enter through the library). The club has introduced a reduced rate of $30 per person and if you bring a friend, each of you pays $25 per person. Please bring lunch and a pen to class and be on time. Please mail check to Gold Coast Lions Club, Defensive Driving Course, P.O. Box 25, Sea Cliff, NY 11579. Please write your phone number and date of class on your check. The Club will also sponsor and serve the Survivor’s Dinner at the ACS Relay for Life at North Shore High School on Saturday, June 6th. We are looking to celebrating with these courageous folks who have fought the fight against cancer.
The Club will welcome anyone who would like to join our organization. Our criteria are a big heart, helpful hands, and a big smile. We not only serve the community, but raise funds and support those causes seeking to protect eyesight and aid to the visually-impaired.
