With events and performances that provided entertainment for all ages, the Gold Coast Library in Glen Head sponsored a Summer Kick Off Celebration this past Weekend.  On Friday evening, Pat Farrell and the Cold Spring Harbor Band performed on the lawn of the Glenwood American Legion Hall on Glen Head Road, covering a wide assortment of Bill Joel classics.  On Saturday morning, children were treated to a a magic show show by Sammy and June, and introduced to live animals, through a      .  In the afternoon, North Shore musicians Mac Ayres, performing along side  Dylan and Cody Brady performed.   There will be face painting, crafts, and child safety kits provided by County Executive Ed Mangano.  Register for all Summer Reading programs too! All events are held at The Glenwood Landing American Legion located at 190 Glen Head Rd.  CLICK HERE FOR MORE DE
