GLEN GARDEN CLUB HOLDS ANNUAL SPRING LUNCHEON

April 23, 2014 - The Glen Garden Club held its annual spring luncheon this past Wednesday at the Swan Club in Glenwood Landing.  Floral designer extraordinaire  Carl Lemanski  was the event's special guest.  

Presenting on the topic "Blossoms and Bird Nests,"  Mr. Lemanski created spectacular arrangements as he told stories and jokes, and offered flower arranging tips and advice.  

Members of the Glen Garden Club will be beautifying public spaces in the Glen Head Business district from May 15-17. 

The group meets the second Wednesday in February, March, May, June, September, October and December, at 10 am at the Glen Head Community Center on Glen Head Road (next to the post office).

Meetings include demonstrations of flower arranging and programs on planting, horticulture & landscape design. 

On November 12, the group will be holding its Holiday Luncheon at the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club in Port Washington.
