GLEN COVE SENIOR ADVISORY COUNCIL HOSTS A SENIOR RESOURCE EXCHANGE

 
The Glen Cove Senior Advisory Council in cooperation with Glengariff Health Care Center recently held a Senior Resource Exchange breakfast.  The event, which was held at The Pratt Pavilion at Glengariff Health Care Center, was educational and enjoyable. Not only did participants come away with a new understanding of some of the many services available to seniors, they also had an opportunity to catch up with old friends in the senior care industry.  Participants included Glengariff Health Care Center, Hospice of New York, Parker Jewish, Glen Cove Hospital, Glen Cove Senior Center, Senior Bridge, The Atria, The Right Senior Move, Poetry in Motion, The Regency, Sunrise Glen Cove, Glen Cove Adult Day Care Program and Glen Cove Medical Transportation.  Many thanks to Bonnie Nogin of Glengariff for arranging for the delicious breakfast and educational program.
The Glen Cove Senior Citizen Advisory Council works closely with the Mayor’s Office and the Glen Cove Senior Center to advocate for improving the lives of senior citizens in all respects including safety, housing, socialization and nutrition.
