COMING TO A STREET NEAR YOU - GLEN COVE ANNOUNCES OUTDOOR MOVIE SCHEDULE DURING THEATER RENOVATIONS

July 12, 2017, Glen Cove, NY … The City of Glen Cove is inviting all residents to continue to enjoy free family movies on School Street on Saturday nights at 8:30 p.m.  The “Cinema in the Streets” program was created by Mayor Reggie Spinello to give Glen Cove movie lovers an entertainment alternative while AMC renovates the Glen Cove movie theatre with luxury reclining seats, a new concession area and more. 
 
Here’s a look at the upcoming movie schedule:
 
July 22 - Beauty and the Beast (2017)
July 29 - Back to the Future
August 5 - The Secret Life of Pets
August 12 - ET
August 19 – Grease
 
Not only do families enjoy free family movies, but complimentary popcorn is also provided to complete the movie-goers experience.  “It has been wonderful to see so many people coming downtown to watch our wide variety of movies so don’t forget to bring your chairs and think about dining at one of our many restaurants in downtown Glen Cove before show time,” said Mayor Spinello.
