Sept. 4 -- In a legislative column released today, Assemblyman Michael Montesano (R,I,C - Glen Head) states that after his letter to the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Competition – Healthcare Services, the United States Justice Department has decided to review North Shore LIJ's proposed changes to Glen Cove Hospital. In additon, he contends that the Cuomo administration's relationship with NS-LIJ CEO Michael Dowling has led it to ignore the impact of the changes on the Glen Cove Community.
