Here are several updates:
* Glen Head center of town beautification plan - As a result of several meetings with the Town, (latest meeting last week) and based on a plan also put together by the local Business Association, the Town plans to begin the beautification project of the center of the GH four corners within the next couple of weeks. The plan calls for installation of antique lighting from first around the business area as well as the enhancement of the sidewalks. The second phase, expected to star immediately after will start the same process from the railroad area, on Glen Head Road, up to the corners and then south up to the GH pharmacy. A third phase is under discussion.
* Sunoco Property - The civics were advised this Friday that the Bank has finally signed the contract to purchase the property. Next steps are to be forthcoming.
* Hamls Property - 150 GH Road - The broker and owner of this property have been discussing with the Civics the most appropriate development for this location. There have been two offers by developers and the offers are under discussion before they are presented to the immediate community neighbors for discussion, however, a third local option has now been presented to the owner and this third offer is under discussion. The Civics will keep everyone abreast of the ongoing progress on the sale of this property.
