CYCLING WITHOUT AGE TO VISIT SEA CLIFF FRIDAY MORNING
The Danish not-for-profit "Cycling Without Age," an organization that pairs senior citizens with volunteers who give the seniors free bicycle rickshaw rides, will be visiting Sea Cliff this Friday morning. The program currently operates more than 400 rickshaws in Denmark, and is beginning to expand internationally. The group will have a rickshaw in Sea Cliff on Friday morning from 10 am to noon at Lincoln Plaza, on the corner of Sea Cliff and Roslyn Avenues, adjacent to the Metropolitan Bistro, where people can stop by, learn about the program, and check out the rickshaw. "The goal at this point," said Kelly Talcott, a Sea Cliff resident and attorney who is working with Cycling Without Age, "is to gauge the interest in this area for this sort of program."
