Congratulations go out to Principal Albert Cousins of North Shore High School who received a 2017 Council of Administrators & Supervisors (CAS) of the Year Award. Each year, the Council of Administrators & Supervisors hold two Delegate Assemblies to conduct annual business and recognize the special accomplishments of their members. At the February 2017 Delegate Assembly, the following CAS Administrator of the Year Awards 2017 were given out to the following administrators: Albert Cousins, High School Principal, North Shore Public Schools, Jonathan Klomp, High School Principal, North Babylon CSD, Joanne Giordano, Middle School Principal, Harborfields CSD, Thomas J. Desmond, Middle School Assistant Principal, Sachem CSD, Ronald Gimondo, Elementary School Principal, Great Neck UFSD, Dr. Barbara Donnellan, Coordinator of Guidance, Lindenhurst UFSD, Elizabeth Melichar, Program Administrator, Eastern Suffolk BOCES, and William King Moss III, Math and Science Chairperson, Lawrence UFSD. Other awards given out were two Blue Ribbon School Awards and a CAS Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr. Cousins said, “I am so thankful for the opportunity to work with the students, faculty, and community of North Shore. This recognition is a representation of the dedication and commitment of our incredible teachers to their students and our school.”
