RE-SCHEDULED HOLIDAY BRASS & CHOIRS WILL PERFORM ON JANUARY 11, 8 PM AT THE NORTH SHORE HIGH SCHOOLThe North Shore Community Chorus’ December holiday concert, which was cancelled due to a snowstorm, has been re-scheduled for Saturday, January 11, at 8 p.m. at the North Shore High School. The HS auditorium will resound with the glorious sounds of brass instruments and choral voices, when the North Shore Community Chorus, under the direction of Stephen Goldstein and the Island Chamber Symphony Brass, under the direction of Jeremy Kempton, will take to the stage to present a magnificent holiday music spectacular. Featured on the program are the "Gloria" by John Rutter and the "Christmas Cantata" by Daniel Pinkham. The program will also highlight holiday favorites by the Musica Schmoozica vocal ensemble, directed by Carol Goglia. The evening will culminate in a carol sing-along with brass and choir, and a new Chanukah medley for brass and choir, written by NSCC Director, Stephen Goldstein The festivities will begin at 8 p.m. at the North Shore High School Auditorium, Glen Cove Avenue, Glen Head.
