Join Darren Petronella, Career Counselor and Associate Professor at Nassau Community College, at the Gold Coast Public Library Annex, 40 Railroad Avenue, Glen Head on November 18th from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for a Resume Writing Workshop. Learn how to utilize the latest software to generate professional-looking, effective resumes and cover letters that sets yours apart from the rest!

Darren has extensive experience working with populations ranging from elementary school age children, to working and transitioning adults, to senior citizens. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Binghamton University and a Master of Science in Education (Specialization in Counseling) from Hofstra University. He is the recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service from the State University of New York.
At Nassau Community College, Darren teaches career development and management courses in addition to counseling students about their careers; he has also created distance learning, weekend college, and summer session modalities of instruction. At Adelphi University, he is an adjunct professor and online course developer in psychology and general education .
