Author Ellen Meister will visit the Gold Coast Public Library on Monday, August 24 at 7pm. Meister is the author of five novels including Secret Confessions of the Applewood PTA, The Smart One, The Other Life and Farewell, Dorothy Parker. Her most recent novel, Dorothy Parker Drank Here, is both sad and funny and a quick, charming read.

Copies of Dorothy Parker Drank Here are available at the Circulation Desk. It is also available as an ebook through Nassau Digital Doorway.

Friends of the Gold Coast Library will sell copies of Farewell, Dorothy Parker and the author will sign them.

Attendees to the author visit will be entered into a drawing for the following prizes donated by local businesses: a $5 gift certificate to Value Mart, a bottle of Red Rock Pinot Noir from by Fine Wine and Good Spirits, a gift certificate for a 3-foot hero with salad from Brookville Deli and Caterers and a gift certificate for two dozen bagels from Bagel Café.
