AUTHOR CHRISTOPHER BOLLEN TO SPEAK AT THE GOLD COAST LIBRARY

Author Christopher Bollen will visit the Gold Coast Public Library on Tuesday, May 24 at 7pm to discuss his thriller Orient.
Orient is a gripping novel of culture clash and murder. As summer draws to a close, a small Long Island town is gripped by a series of mysterious deaths—and one young man, a loner taken in by a local, tries to piece together the crimes before his own time runs out. Rich with character and incident, yet deeply suspenseful, Orient marks the emergence of a novelist of enormous talent.
The N.Y. Times called the novel “engrossing,” and said “The characters are drawn in vivid detail, and the atmosphere is thickly enveloping.”
Before the author visits the Library, discuss Orient with Librarian Deborah Kinirons on Thursday, May 5at 7pm.
Copies of the Orient are available at the Circulation Desk, and as an ebook and downloadable audiobook through Nassau Digital Doorway.
Friends of the Gold Coast Library will sell copies of Orient and the author will sign them after he speaks on Tuesday, May 24.
