NS SUMMER THEATER WORKSHOP TO PRESENT TWO SHOWS THIS SUMMER - LIVE OUT LOUD AND THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE
The Summer Theater Workshop is back after a 12-year hiatus with two fabulous shows! Live Out Loud, on July 31 and August 1, is a concert of gorgeous new songs from musicals you haven't heard of yet. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, on August 7 and 8, is a hilarious, Tony Award-winning musical comedy.
Our performers are talented, hard-working students from North Shore Middle School and High School, and numerous alumni pursuing advanced training in performing arts. Our Artistic Director, the visionary NYC-based Terry Berliner, leads an all-star staff of Broadway designers who have transformed the auditorium of North Shore High School into a professional theater space. Tickets are $6/$8 for students and senior citizens, and $12 or $16 for adults. Shows are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
