The North Shore High School Masquers’ modern adaptation of the Ancient Greek drama Antigone tells the story of a teenage girl’s attempt to do the right thing in a city besieged by corruption, terrorism, and fear. A powerful tale of family, loyalty, and common decency, Antigone reveals that making, enforcing, and challenging laws is not a modern problem—it’s been this way for thousands of years.
This Masquers’ production features the work of 16 actors and more than 60 crew members. It will feature student- designed costumes and lighting, student recorded sound effects, and a full complement of props and furniture curated and/or created by students at North Shore HS.
The show will run on March 27at 730pm and March 28 at 2 pm and 730 pm in the North Shore High School Theatre. To purchase tickets please visit the Arts Angels Box Office at

Seating is general admission on chairs placed on risers on stage to create an intimate black box setting. Fewer than 200 seats will be available for each performance.
